- Offer, background check and onboarding handover
Model answer
It starts when a role is approved. I hold an intake meeting with the hiring manager to agree on must-have skills, budget, interview stages and timeline. Then I write or update the job description and post it on the right channels, while also sourcing on LinkedIn, job portals and referrals. I screen resumes against the must-haves and do short phone screens to check skills, salary expectations and notice period. Shortlisted candidates go through structured interviews, and I collect scorecards quickly so we can decide within a few days. For the selected person I share a verbal offer, handle negotiation, then send the written offer and run background checks. I stay in touch until the joining date and hand over to onboarding. Throughout, I keep the ATS updated and give every candidate a clear answer.
