Design an AI-assisted content workflow for a team of five writers that keeps quality and trust high.
What the interviewer wants to hear
- Define where AI helps and where humans must own the work
- Require original input such as experts, data or experience
- Mandatory fact-checking and source verification
- Clear editing, disclosure and data-privacy rules
- Measure quality and outcomes, not just output volume
Model answer
I would write down where AI is allowed: research summaries, outline options, first drafts of simple sections, headline ideas and repurposing. Strategy, original insight, expert interviews, final edits and sign-off stay human. Every brief must include an original element, such as expert quotes, our own data or first-hand testing, because that is what makes content worth reading. Every statistic and source must be verified by the writer against the original, with links in the draft. An editor reviews each piece against the style guide and a quality checklist. I would set privacy rules: no confidential or customer data in public tools, and only approved enterprise tools. We would follow our disclosure policy where AI use is material. Finally I would track quality signals, such as engagement, conversions and corrections, not just pieces published.
