Model answer
I would start by mapping the journey of a successful small customer: setup, first value, regular use and renewal, and the moments where customers usually get stuck. For each moment I would design automated, behaviour-triggered touches, such as a guide when setup stalls, a tip when a key feature is unused, or a check-in before renewal, using our CS platform and in-app tools like Intercom. I would add one-to-many resources: onboarding webinars, office hours, help articles and a community. I would define clear triggers for human help, for example high-value accounts showing risk, and route them to a pooled CSM team. Finally, I would measure open and click rates, time to value, adoption and retention by cohort, and keep testing and improving the messages.
