Model answer
I start by defining what success looks like: the target audience, business goals and the metrics we will track, such as adoption and activation within 30 days. With product marketing I agree positioning and key messages based on the customer problem. Then I build a readiness checklist with owners and dates: sales training and demo scripts, support documentation and macros, help centre articles, pricing and legal checks, and analytics events in place. Before the public launch we run a beta with real customers to catch problems and gather quotes. On launch day we roll out with feature flags in stages, watching dashboards, errors and support tickets, with a rollback plan ready. A few weeks later I hold a launch review comparing results to goals and turn learnings into the next iteration.
