Slerp spins the long way round

A custom quaternion slerp sometimes rotates almost 360 degrees instead of a few degrees. What is the cause?

A.q and -q represent the same rotation; if dot(q1, q2) < 0, negate one of them before interpolatingB.Quaternions must be converted to Euler angles before slerpC.Slerp only works with angles under 90 degreesD.The quaternions need a larger w component
