Helm says another operation is in progress

A CI job was killed in the middle of helm upgrade. Now every new upgrade fails as below. What is the usual way to recover?

$ helm upgrade api ./chart -n prod
Error: UPGRADE FAILED: another operation (install/upgrade/rollback) is in progress

$ helm history api -n prod
REVISION  STATUS           DESCRIPTION
41        deployed         Upgrade complete
42        pending-upgrade  Preparing upgrade

A.Delete the whole prod namespace and reinstall every release in it from scratch.B.Roll back to the last deployed revision (helm rollback api 41), then upgrade again.C.Wait for the release lock Secret to expire on its own, which Helm does automatically after about 24 hours.D.Run helm upgrade with --dry-run a few times until Helm clears the stale lock.
