Running migrations before rollout in Argo CD

With Argo CD, a new app version needs a database migration Job to finish before the new Deployment starts. How do you express this ordering?

A.Put the Job and the Deployment in one YAML file in that order; Argo CD applies top to bottom and waits.B.Add an initContainer to every replica of the Deployment that runs the migration first.C.Run the migration by hand right after each sync, once all the new Pods report Ready.D.Make the Job a PreSync hook (argocd.argoproj.io/hook: PreSync) or give it an earlier sync wave.
