Room version bump without migration

You added a column to a Room entity and increased the database version, but shipped without a Migration. What happens for existing users after they update?

A.Room compares the entity with the existing table and adds the new column automatically with a null default, so existing users keep all their data without any extra codeB.The new column is silently ignoredC.Room throws an IllegalStateException when opening the database, unless destructive migration is allowed, which wipes the data; you need a Migration or AutoMigrationD.Room switches back to the old schema version
